After more than two decades working as a communicator and health care insider, it was inevitable Jean would found a company like Schauer Global Health (SGH). Along with her daily leadership responsibilities, Jean is also actively involved in her business and has a passion for helping clients build and execute creative communication strategies.

Before forming SGH, Jean served as a senior communication consultant at Watson Wyatt Worldwide and was director of constituency communications at UnitedHealth Group. Throughout her career she has helped clients inform, inspire and activate employee health at companies including 3M, Aetna, Amazon.com, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, the Buyers Health Care Action Group, CIGNA, Consortium Health Plans, Disney, G.M.P. - Employers Retiree Trust, Hazelden, Ingenix, the National Business Group on Health, RedBrick Health, St. Jude Medical, and SUPERVALU, among others. Karen’s 20+ years of experience in marketing, communication and health management provides a strong foundation for her strategic communication efforts. Driven by a keen focus on prevention and consumer education, Karen helps organizations better understand key audiences, designing and implementing programs to engage consumers as informed and empowered decision-makers.

Prior to joining Schauer Global Health, Karen was Director of Health Management Consulting at Ingenix, where she helped create innovative products to support health behavior change initiatives. Karen also worked at Watson Wyatt Worldwide as a senior consumerism consultant, and at UNUM Corporation, where she implemented large-scale communication programs designed to educate and engage employee audiences. Senior Communications Consultant

Bob has spent more than 20 years on the front lines of communications in a variety of industries. He has managed public and media relations, internal communications, and advertising and promotion. Jenny StichaJenny Sticha
Communications Associate

Jen has a remarkable ability to foresee and manage any problem that may arise, and manages projects of all sizes for Schauer Global Health clients. With her strong project management skills and experience in health care consulting, Jenny works to ensure projects are completed on schedule and on budget. She came to SGH from a national mortgage company, where she implemented processes for efficiently managing office operations and created tools for measuring performance metrics. Jenny also spent several years providing executive-level support to the Group and Health Care practice director at Watson Wyatt Worldwide, helping to implement initiatives such as health care roundtables.
